Back-story of this artwork
Painted side by side with I See A Yellow Vase With Pink Flowers in my 100 Sunrise studio in Toronto while preparing for an Art Fair in Soho, NYC called (wo)man. I am usually cleansing my mind when I paint women and flowers and they tend to be fast and furious in creation. For many years I painted and sketched in a more controlled realistic representation, now I let my inner child show me what flowers can be, what joy they can bring just as they are created without over thinking.
